Hinchliffe Testimonial

The pre-season 2026 game against Preston North End to mark academy graduate Ben Hinchliffe's Testimonial took place on the 1st August 2026. The game was a great success, with a fantastic turnout from fans and supporters of both clubs. The match ended in a 1 - 0 win to Stockport.
It’s the end of an era at Edgeley Park, with County’s legendary goalkeeper Ben Hinchliffe set to depart the club this summer after an incredible ten years at Edgeley Park - an outstanding contribution which will be celebrated in a testimonial
